I've been looking around for a software to organize and list my coin collection so I can present what I have to people on the go from my laptop. Any recommendations?
If you have MS Office, make an Excel spreadsheet and organize it to your collection. That's how I have mine organized. The titles on each page of the sheet has the date, mintage numbers from Red Book, the cert# if in a TPG slab, grade, and price I paid. Each page is titled for the denomination, and I also have a page for uncirculated and proof sets as well as commems. I also have a page with the silver content for all denominations made with silver, and formulated the cells to calculate the melt value of each denomination by simply entering the spot price from the market. Works great. Total cost=my time to make it and update it.
