That '81-S is in a rare holder. Rarer that doily slabs, unfortunately they don't command the same premium.

I have lots of those kind of slabs.
You sure it's more rare then a Dolly?

Look closely, I'll bet you don't have more than one or two. PCGS on the top of the green label, with label edges rounded and not preforated, 4 pins, two piece slab with the PCGS on the outer ring. They were used for a brief period of time in Dec. of '89, IIRC.

EDIT: Yeah, here you go... PCGS 3.

    :p
    You'd be correct!
I didn't notice the little differences just the green holder.
And I see why the Doily gets a better premium as the change wasn't that different.

PCGS 3 The slab shell is the same as that seen on the previous variety. On the front label the initials PCGS have been added at the top center, and the upper three fourths of the label is covered with a "doilie" pattern. There areas in the pattern where part of the image has been left out and these altered areas also form the PCGS initials. This variety was used in Dec of 89 only.

If you wanna sell it, let me know. I'll pay a small premium for the holder... better than the no premium virtually anybody else will give you for it.

This one is a gold PCI holder. Would welcome grade thoughts on this one as I have my own.
