Die clash on quarter?

    Would this be a die clash error? If it is, what kind of premium does it carry?

    Which part is supposed to be a clash? I don't see it.

    My terminology is wrong..I don't know what to call it, but its the different looking texture that is in the same place on both the obverse and the reverse.

    I think the coin was struck through grease. The "goop" that builds up on the dies can obscure design details and leave the fields looking like your coin.

    Ah. I found another Idaho quarter with almost exactly the same strike through pattern :)

    that happens because the surface of the die is been tooled just tool/ sanded marks.. its a nice bu..
