I have heard of the doubled die 1969 penny with the San Fransisco "s" on it, but mine appears to be unique in a different way. I inherited this penny from my grandfather who worked at a bank. The side profile of the penny is slightly taller that the height of a nickel. I have included photos compared to a normal penny to show scale. The digital camera I was using does not allow close up pictures of the surface of the coin. If you look directly down on the coin, the word "Liberty" looks like "iberty" because the "L" is printed on the inside curve of the coin that makes the outside rim of the coin so tall. Both sides are tall. Please let me know what im looking at in terms of value... Thanks Guys.
It's been through a few spins of a dryer or spooned. Notice that the diameter of your cent is smaller than normal.
