The field areas seem to be mostly problem free with a few nicks on the bust. The verdigris is minor and could be minimized by soaking as mentioned. When using any manual cleaning less force the better. Patience and a strong, lighted, hands free magnifier are important. Do not get in a hurry. I have heard that using a green rose thorn works very well. A green one comes from the new growth and is not neccessarilly the color. It is still flexible.

    I also pulled a '22-D in VF20, and a '24-D in F12 out of that bag. Good bag. :D

I was gonna say the same thing. :)

But if you are gonna clean it, forget the olive oil and tooth brush, get yourself a industrial power polisher along with some nice turtle wax, it'll bring the shine right out...

Even in AU, that 24-S would be the most valuable by far, and if it went MS ....... However, looking closely, I suspect that the coin, if graded, would get details - PVC damage. I would at a minimum rinse it with acetone to make sure all had been removed. Even if I am wrong, it should not hurt the coin if done correctly.
