Does anyone know of folders or albums that will hold airtites? For instance, will Dansco or Intercept shield albums hold the smaller airtities? I have a bunch of airtites just lose in containers and I feel like I have no organized way to look at them and store them. This is one of the aspects of this hobby that just drives me crazy.
i take a 1/4 inch piece of wood and use a hole boring bit made for elec. drills and cut holes the right size and glue on felt from the craft store, then turn it over and cut out the felt over the holes with exacto knife. take another piece of wood and glue felt over the whole thing and nail or glue the solid one under the drilled one. makes a nice display like the cases you see on the TV coin shows for state qtrs etc and you can stack them. sounds like a lot of work but it's not. no way to post pics. cut holes in staggered rows eg. 7 then 6 then 7 etc. I usually go with 11X14 so you can fit a standard picture frame over it if you want.
I read about "Eagle pages" for 2x2s which hold round airtites in with a plastic strip, but they seemed pricey at the time. The official airtite album linked above, I also saw at the airtite site, but as before, I wished they would post close-up pics of their album pages. I assume they only fit in their albums, right?
Yup, those are the type I use with mine. Pretty decent, the nice option is you can order the type of insert cards to use with different configurations to your liking. That site seems to have some but there are more insert cards available.
I use valleycoin.com for mine. Empty album at $12.45, then you select what type of pages/holder inserts (a moderately 0.79 cents each) you want for the type of holders you currently have, etc.
