Christian, let me just opin that the dollar is not very far off the mark of the Euro in it's perilous predicament. The USA press is doing a pretty good job of deflecting attention from the budget mess in USA - the Kardashian divorce, Gingriches marital past woes, Tim Tebow and his prayer thingy. So euro and dollar, they are both little aluminium foil boats going twirling around in toilet bowl. As for me, I only believe that a certain barbarous relic ever holds value.
ok since the advent of the euro the sheer fun of going to different countries in europe and finding different coins from different countries in circulation that you don't, have in your change. that said it has been a worthwhile experiment but i feel that the headlong rush by some countries with traditional weak economies has significantly weakened the single currency, if it had been initially the strongest economies (uk included) and then gradually phased in to the others i think it would have been extremely successful.
Well, since some poor and moody people in the US are now apparently doing to the EFSF what they have done to pretty much every single euro country, they may actually achieve their goal. It will be pretty difficult to address the problems then. I just wonder what those agencies will take apart next. Christian
Here in Belgium we often get the following Euro coins: -Belgian -The Netherlands -France -Germany -Spain -Greece The other countrys from the eurozone are less comon here, but they also pop up on (regular) basis
