Taiwan Chiang Kai-shek coin date

    I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this....but can anyone here tell me the date printed on this coin? No one I know has been able to tell me...anyone?

    Rexesq,this coin is a Taiwanese $10 piece.Krause calls it 'Yuan' as that is what is inscribed in Chinese to refer to 'Dollars',but the Yuan itself is the Communist Chinese currency.

    Rexesq,did you look up the price in Krause for the Taiwanese $10 coin?

    Yes, the yr. 79 $10 lists for .30 cents in VF and .65 cents in Unc, according to my 1901-2004 copy.

    Chinese dates are written opposite to English. Taiwan seven is upside down "German" seven and ten is the + sign. It reads right to left as seven ten= 70! (ten seven = 17!)
