Grades are in! I'm bummed about the 03-S. I will have to look at that one a bit closer when it arrives. All in all I am pretty happy with my first submission!

  7. Well, again I had an 11-S, but I couldn't help negotiate this one with my Ebay bucks. Plus, I think it's undergraded and deserved a VF25.

Your dime is fantastically beautiful and it appears to be natural toned! I'd scoop that one up in a second!

Nice group, Justin. Like every one of them ... I also like your newp - paid with your eBay Bucks.

I did the same thing last night - and I found this coin - in Austrailia no less - and the net price to

me with using my free money was $83.00 ... Its an VF 30 [ looks 20ish to me ] but I just like its look.

  12. Mike, I like that 08-S. It would net a 25 in my book, a 30 reverse with a 20 obverse. Still a nice coin a tougher date as well. :thumb:

Just picked up this beauty from another forum member. Sure, the rim nicks on the reverse would keep it in a genuine slab, but for me that's not an issue. It's the perfect coin for the last hole in my DANSCO that isn't on the first(1890's) page. I'm really digging the details and toning on the obverse. :thumb:

    Thanks!

I think mstng02qt's 1912-D Barber Dime looks better than mine

 But I still can't take good pics

Yours does not look bad. Although it is hard to see the luster in the pic. I think it is a nice coin.

As for mine. I do think it is a pretty coin for the grade. I still think that ICG is highly underrated of all the top 4 graders. I see more over/under grades in ANACS holders then anyone else. For me they are the grader to avoid lol.

i got this barber dime from a friend who uncovered it in a metal detector dig a few months back. it's been cleaned up a bit, but nothing too harsh. i'm considering an acetone bath to try and remove the leftover grime from the lettering...
