Hi I wouldve read the sticky about coins like this but I couldn't get to the link on my mobile device or some reason. A good friend and I found a quarter with two heads. It looks like the old quarters wig the bird on the back. But two heads. On one side it says liberty on top, in god we trust on the bottom left of the head like other coins I think. Oh and btw I know nothing about coins. It says 1993 on the bottom and there's a tiny little P on the bottom right of the head. The hair is detailed and GW is looking to the side he always looking at. On the other side everything is the same except liberty is sortve cut off and the year is instead 1965 and Also cut off. And when you drop the coin it doesn't sound like a normal coin. It sounds more dull without that cling sound. And hen it hits the floor it does not move very long it just stops unlike a real quarter. I'm guessing if this is a real error coin then the 1993 side would be the correct side since the other side isn't very detailed and its cut off a bit. And on the 1965 side GW'S cheek has like a hair detail but its wron an it looks like a circle. Please help

We'd need good photos of both obverse and reverese to be sure, but it sounds like it might be a poor attempt at producing a magician's coin. If so, it would have no numismatic value.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Like Chris said, from the sound of it you probably have a magician's coin of some sort (where the obverse of two coins are put together to make what appears to be a two-headed coin). Post some good photos so we can see what you have there.

Most likely a novelty 2 headed coin, I have a nickel that is that way, i paid $3.00 for it at a gag store. But again, a pic would be needed to tell for sure.

There was a dime on Ebay with 2 tails. The person selling it was a top seller with 99.5 pos. feedback.I asked him if it was a real coin and he told me it was.so I opened an account and bid on the coin it was my first time bidding on Ebay, and well I didn`t know that I could bid say $100 and it would keep bidding up to $100.(I wasn`t paying $100 for it any way).but any how the other guy got it for $12. Just thought this was a good time to share my 1st experiance on Ebay.
