NGC has a higher standard of coin grading IMHO. There appears to be certain series which they do not comprimise. Even the appearance of the slab itself. Business card like features at the 12 oclock, ANA Association, ruffled edges, and coin holder within a holder. Outstanding. How can I persue a career as a grader for NGC? Do I have to wait until I am 18?
you would have to start out small then work your way up to the top of the grading field by making a name for yourself. just a guess
That is a skill that needs to be proven and demonstrated before they would ever consider someone for that job. Probably they pick people who have been associated with the industry for years, like from major auction houses or large dealerships who assign grades to raw coins. And your track record should be very impressive there, as well.
You've already outed yourself as a troll. We're all sorry that you have to be bored and lonely on a Friday night, but can't you find something else to do?
+1 -jeffB Oddly, before I replied, I sort of looked at his avatar and asked myself why someone who isn't 18 yet, uses such an older persons' image? But then I thought, look at how many brand new members call themselves a "senior member", when they first sign up. :>) So I thought I would be a nice guy and reply anyway.
