    18S - ANACS MS62 RB - old small holder.
27 - Truegrade MS63 RB - pretty sure there is only one style holder,, ha.

What'cha think they got at NGC ?

I am going with they crossed over at the same grades. I don't see the luster on the 27 to make a 64, but maybe that is my eyes or the pictures. I I think a 62 on the other because of all the little tick marks I see in the pictures and the strike. would not be surprised if both were a grade higher.

18S - went from 62RB to 62BRN - slight down grade in color. Probably a coin I would have said would be the least likely to grade the same as you just don't see many 62's out there. But 62 it is !
27 - went from 63RB to 64BRN - upgraded details, downgraded color... a nice coin collected very cheaply in it's TG holder. Another colorful and attractive BRN coin for the collection.

    CONGRATS - BADTHAD ! > nailed it !

What is the metal to the left of the O in ONE on the 1927?

The metal is not metal.. it's a piece of cardboard fuzz from the NGC return box that must have been on the slab when I took the picture. You can see it's shadow on the cent directly to the north of the fuzz..
