1996 series $100 star note

    Found this note at work and bought it from the safe, just curious if it's worth anything over face value. Has a fold down the middle and a few other smaller folds but no rips, tears or stains. $100 star 001.jpg $100 star 002.jpg

    It's from a run of over 2 million, so not that rare. In it's current condition I say it's worth only a little over face value.

    You'd have to hang on to it for at least 20 years and have half of them be destroyed before it was worth anything worth while. Crisp uncirclated examples are only going for $145-165. Au and lower aren't even assigned a price right now.
