So i'm still going through the coins I have here and I think I found something interesting. Let me know what you guys and gals think. The first is the 1999 I wasn't sure if that was doubling on the mint mark or just wear.

As for this one I was looking at the spots on the chin and the word FIVE on the back.

Don't know what die fill is.
The first one is machine doubling on the P.
The second one looks like small die chips.

The mint mark looks to be MD (machine doubling)

As for the other coin: Hard to tell but it might be some die chips, not sure. Someone will come and find out. I would have liked to see better pictures (magnified).

Sorry about the quality but this is the best I could do with what I have. Close ups seem to be a problem with my camera. So let me know if these help any.

The other folks are right about what they said. The coin with the tiny die chips is caused to be this way when a chip falls out of the coin die then when this die keeps on striking coins the void where the chip is missing get's filled in with the coins metal and makes the raised up areas. Keep on looking and you may find some really good coins.

The Machine Doubling is pretty common. As for the chips not so common but not worthy of any extra value. Keep looking and WELCOME to the forum..
