Hey guys is felix again, I found a few lincoln pennies that i'm going to post but first i'm going to show you a 1974 D LINCOLN's Face and hair look difrent than usual, tell me what you guys think, tnx all.
I think that as the dies wear and the mint cleans the dies (as in polishing) many of the details are going to change.
A few years ago I got an entire bank wrapped roll of 74 D's that was so abraded Lincoln had no neck and his nose was not attached to his face. I guess the Denver mint really wanted to get their money's worth out of those dies.
worn dies as everyone else already stated. denver over uses their dies. on the mint website you can see how many coins per die on average they both use and denver usually mints more per die than philidelphia does. cody
