Here's a recap of the boxes of halves I picked up on Thursday last week.
    Box 1 - 4 x 40% with my first ender
    Box 2 - 1 x 40%

Then on Friday I left work early to run an errand and went to a bank where they had two boxes for me from the week between Christmas and New Years I had not picked up yet. The vault teller even told me she would keep ordering for me just give her a call.

    Box 1 - SKUNK
    Box 2 - 6 x 40% & 1 X 90% Sweet box

    It worked!

    I got a box on Saturday and ended my 6 box skunk streak. I found 11. 9 40%ers, 1 1964 and 1 1949 Ben.

    :D

I also visited 8 banks and found a total of $9.50 in loose all clad....no matter, I was very pleased in breaking the streak!

Went to a local bank to get a box of dimes and the teller is good about hooking me up with coin and letting me know if she has any interesting stuff. She was going to go into the vault and get me a box and she knows to get me non 2011 dimes but two others go into the vault. I pay her and we wait for the box, she gets the box and looks at it while sliding it across the counter and says "oh no, there all brand new". I tell her not to worry I'll unload them somewhere and she tells me to wait. She has $235 in CWR in her drawer so we trade and she gives me $15 back. What a great teller! The best part of the story....4 x Roosie out of the $235.

My first dime score of the year (been doing more halves) and broke a $1250 dime skunk streak!

Just went through $210 in halves. Nada! 50 Rolls of nickels this past weekend, no war nickels, but plenty of 40's, 50's and 2 39's.

Of the 21 rolls of halves the yesterday, all of the rolls were marked "Loomis". Because I am kind of new, are these BWR's or could these be CWR's? Are chances of finding silver better with one or the other? Thanks

Searched through $500 worth of dimes today, one box and 50 customer rolls. The box yielded a 1962 Roosevelt and, surprisingly, a 1941 Merc! The customer rolls yielded two 1957-D's, a 1946, and four Canadians. Later, when I was dumping, I found another 1957-D in the reject tray.

Searched 5 banks for halves and they had zero. Picked up 5 Susan B Anthony dollars and when I got home noticed that teller apparently gave me a Quarter instead of a Susan B Anthony. Whoops.

Are these worth saving or am I better getting rid of them? Thanks!

    1972 DDO found in rolls

Found this 1972 DDO in rolls he other day. The picture doesn't do it justice but it is nice and red and shiney. it's a FS-108 I believe. By the way, a local coin shop in my area was robbed and the person was caught. He broke into many proof sets. When asked what he did with the coins he replied " Put them in the CoinStar Redemption Machine". This is one of th reasons I will keep searching rolls. Estimated face value of the coins he stole was 1500 dollars.

Unless they're proofs or specific die varieties, spend them.
