Since the BEP is way behind on publishing their monthly reports, I thought it might be a good idea to start posting notes in unreported ranges, so people know what's out there. With the current series being 2009, this would apply to that particular series, but I included the "and beyond" in the thread title, in the event that this type of back up happens again with future series. So, without further adieu, here are a couple of unreported '09s that I've found in my travels this weekend: $50: JA 01210155 A (latest reports indicate no Boston $50's printed for series 2009). $5: JF 43029497 A (latest reports indicate 2009 Atlanta $5's only going up to 19200000). Looking forward to see what folks are finding, especially any unreported stars!
For what it's worth, I've been collecting reports of these recent printings for a while already, and I've just updated my website with them (including your $5 range, which was new to me)...see here for example. New star printings that I'm aware of are the 2009 $1 J..* and L..* and the 2006A $100 KK..*. That last one is a full run of 3,200,000 notes; for the former two I don't have the plate position data that I need to work out the run sizes.
Ok, awesome. Thank you, Numbers. If you need any more info on that $5, such as plate numbers, just let me know.
If you've got a 2009 $1 L..*, could you post the serial number and plate position? Maybe then we could work out the size of the print run....
cool, USPaperMoney.info updated with info on unreported-2009's sightings http://forums.wheresgeorge.com/showthread.php?t=130839 Thread on the wheresgeorge forums about Series 2009 distribution, including but not limited to ranges not in the BEP reports.
Sorry, but i do not have the L *. I was thinking of the G* when I posted that. Hope to get one soon though!
I'm not surprised at all. I was more sartastic when I first questioned if you actually had an '09 $1 L* than not. Hopefully, I'll see some in my area by mid to late this year! -tbud
