    Looks like someone played around with an old tool and die (not the same die as minting dies I might mention) kit that machinists used. The dime suffered and when returned to the Federal Reserve it will die as damaged coinage.

    :)Only one thing keep me from saying PMD is the smoothness+marks in the lg spot of each area. PMD was the 1st thing I thought till I ck in to the area with my 60x microscope.I think it maybe a bad planchet.
    I my stick it in with a few other coin to be grade as soon as Anacs has a 10/$10.00 & free return shipping.
