New Guess the grade. I'm learning, so I haven't given FBL choices. It is PGCS graded.

Wow! It oozes luster but that flat spot behind the ear!? I wonder if that is the result of grease or a poorstrike.

Said 63. Marks on the obverse (unless that's slab plastic), looking of wear in hair around Frankie's ear, and the nice nick and lines under the eagle. Don't get me wrong, very nice coin, just stating what I immediately saw.

    63.

I agree with dimeguy on this one.

I have a '48 in an older pcgs 65 holder that i dug out and the coin in the pic looks close (if the scratches are on the slab). mine also looks flat behind the ear in some light 'till i change the angle. I would give a 64 maybe 65 to that one. edit: after i looked at the enlarged pic there might be too many little nicks on the bell for a 65. still give a 64.

Well...live and learn I guess. Challenging series regardless.

Well, I guess it is turning out to be that. I am only starting on this series, and only have 3 of them.
