1000th post!!!

    I have this 1917D half Mark that has two different things going on. The obverse has a die clash that shows pretty good under the Eagle. The reverse has a Over date kinda thing going on. I think it was a good pickup.     You know that half marks around this period came in three different colors you could say. The government had some made with a black hue and a blue hue to try to stop counterfeiting of the coins. SO getting one that is with this patina of sorts is kinda rare-ish.

    Almost every one of these I see has something going on with it. By 1917 they were sort of just being cranked out without a whole lot of care for the state of the dies. =)

    Beautiful coin! On another forum I belong to, if you mention a milestone post, they purposely reset your post count to zero. :yes:
