    NGC Slab. Attributed as Struck Through (Cloth) Joe doesn't share the label on any of his threads.

    likely there was cloth to wipe down and clean minting equipment. It may have snagged and ripped and got caught in the press. Then the cloth obstructed the obverse die and had its impression rammed into the coin.

    It is very rare to have a full cloth strike-through with a full visible date and mintmark. 1968-S
