NGC charges on receipt; PCGS charges after grading

    Have done business with both firms for years and never noticed before, but it appears to be true.

    Noticed because I recently sent in a PCGS submission Nov 5 followed by one to NGC on Dec 14. PCGS submission is in finalization and hasn’t been charged yet. NGC submission was opened by them Dec 22 and charged today. Checking back on earlier submissions … same pattern.

    Won’t change what type of coins I send to either firm, and don’t do enough business with them that it makes much financial difference. Can see that it would for someone with huge submissions though.
