i inherited this coin from my great grandmother, it has been in the family for atleast 110 years. i was reading in coin magazine about the rusted dies from 1838 being re-used in 1839 at the new orleans mint and i was wondering if this could be one of them. i know this coin is damaged but i still think it is a very interesting piece since it has been in my family soo long. please feel free to comment either good or bad. thanks for viewing!! cody
