This is my mom's coin. She got it when she was a child in the 50's from a business partner of her dad's. He said it was uncirculated. I posted it on the Ebay board before, but I thought I'd post it here too and see what everyone thinks. Thanks!

Kinda hard to tell, the picture is all tinted and grainy. Based upon the pict I'd have to go XF-45, but in reality it could possibly go much higher, MS...

I don't have a great camera, that's the best I could do. Thanks for the opinion!

That issue comes sharply struck, there is wear on the eagle's breast, luster remains, looks semi-PL

nice enough, but very common in MS.

I'm unwilling to pronounce it circulated based upon imperfect pics (and smart enough not to even with good pics :smile ), but there does look to be slight wear over the ear on this normally well-struck issue.

Slightly blurry pics, for me, feel like an advantage when evaluating marks for MS grades. With today's digital photography, we sometimes get caught up in the 10x details, and fail to look at the whole coin, which is that the Sheldon Scale was designed for. If this coin is MS, it's a strong 64. If not, AU55. My gut says it's weakly-struck MS.

    MS-63 or 64.

It could be a weak strike, it is hard to tell with the pics, either way it's not terribly valuable, as a weak strike should sell for a discount.

AU-55 as a rough estimate, the picture isn't all that bad and all the details come out well if you take a second and look at it. BAsically everything SuperDave said.

Even if it did grade MS63 value would still be about $25 - $30. If AU - $20 - $25.
