Okay, for all you fans of righteous indignation here is yet another ebay rip off artist who is trolling for morons. Check out this auction:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/American-Silver...ryZ39488QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

He seems to have several A.S.E.s right at the moment and is unloading them with a starting bid of $4.99 but get the S & H, $22.99, with no combined orders even.

And he's getting selling them!!!!!!! I just noticed this and he has 14 more auctions today and every one of them has at least one bid. His feedback is terrible, the S & H is kinda buried, but it is stated. What's wrong with these people?

everyone please report this guy using this form. Since he is avoiding eBay fees with what he is doing there is a small chance that they will actually NARU this clown.

I am willing to bet that most who bid do not even see the shipping price before they place the bid.

Thought SGS was a problem this is worse. I followed The_Cave_Trolls suggestion and send Customer Service a nice little messages to please stop this person ASAP. It also appears that this person has someone raising bids as well. Who in their right mind is going to bid over 10 dollars and pay 23 dollars for S&H on 6-7 coins.
And I may have missed this but there didn't seem to be anything that said what date/dates this person is selling. Coin looked like the 2006.

Man what next. To many P. T. Barnums in the ebay market places.

This is too much. I contacted an ebay buyer that was bidding 13.00+ for several of these coins to ask them if they were aware of the high S&H and the message went through. When I tried to do the same for the other bidders I was shut down by ebay. WHATS UP WITH THAT? Starting to wonder if ebay isn't working for the anti-christ.

It wouldn't even cost that much to ship it overnight via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Always read the ENTIRE listing, especially the shipping cost, before bidding on anything.

And yes, this is clearly violating eBay rules... demonstrably overcharging on shipping to avoid eBay fees is a violation of their terms of service. And there's no way he can prove that the S&H costs anywhere near that much.

    Ase

And the bad thing is that some people are missing the shipping charges and bidding retail to boot. I read this guys feedback and one buyer basically said, I didn't see the shipping charges, keep your coin!!

    ahh that brings back memories....
Memories of seeing Xbox 360 systems for sale with the title "BEST DEAL ON EBAY" with $700+ for shippping!
Oh and then people justify it by calling it "covering their commisions fees" or something like that. Those fees are for the sellers, not for the sellers to pass off to the buyers... dirtbags

The seller 'dalbert' is only remembering what Barnam said, "there is one born every minute!".

And he was right! It looks like there were at least three who bid on it.

Apparently Barnum didn't take into consideration population bursts. I think we are currently at 3 born every minute.

Ebay really should try to enforce some type ofshipping restraint. This is the oldest trick in the book. Couldn't this be considered price gouging?

    shipping

It looks like he lowered his shipping costs. $6.99 with no combined shipping. I like his pics, he has stock photos and shows pics of proof coins on his UNC auctions!!
