I don't know where everyone else lives but I got really tired of seeing these commercials this whole past weekend.

Even my wife who knows nothing about coins saw it and thought it was just awful marketing gimmicks to prey on gullible vulnerable people.

If you're going to own a Buffalo, at least own real ones from the US Mint!

That ad is fake?! I bought 15 of them using my name and my friend's names so I could buy more than 5!

    Kidding! :D

I agree that the TV ads are pressing the boundaries of false advertising. I believe the words ' copy ' and ' 14mg of pure gold' are mentioned only once through their whole commercial. But if anyone really believes they can buy a $50 gold coin for $9.95 then they deserve what they get.
Ebay is loaded with them and fortunately almost all of the sellers say 'COPY'. It's the ones who don't say anything, and
their price is realistic to that of a real $50 gold buffalo, are the wouldbe scammers to watch out for.

Are any of the coins mentioned on infomercials such as the Justice Coin or the Buffalo Coin worth getting ? I think i read in another post that the gold really has barely any value but what about it's historical value ?

About 1 month ago I almost bought this thing on TV until I did some research. Lol, now I'm buying from the U.S. Mint. But I can see why the commercial could be deceptive to the ignorant viewer, which are millions I assume. I read somewhere that you are paying $10 for 0.67 cents of gold.

At the current market value, 14mg would be $0.72 worth of gold.

What's worse than those are the 9/11 coins made out of the same crap that I see on ebay from time to time. Pure exploitation of an awful tragedy.

  11. Wow, really?! I ought to go buy five before the price goes up after seven days!
