Did you try PCGS Cert verification?

I doubt it's worth that much, but it is one of only 2 Ms 69 Business Strike 2011-P s. None have been sold, and a 68 lists at around $310.... When this sells, it will likely determine a base value for the two that have been certified by PCGS.

That is a high grade for a business strike. I can't find anything even listed above a MS65. It's probably to new to the market to get a read on it. If someone is a PCGS member (only NGC here), perhaps they can at least get a population report for it, and see how few there are. Zach, I must have been hitting the enter button close to the same time you did. We are just one minute apart. You did the leg work already.

Well, with the given asking or starting price, this thing is never going to sell unless the other coin holder sells the one they have at likely a more reasonable starting price to see what the demand creates as a sale price and value.

Yes, you're right, but I think is just a marketing ploy. Probably just to get some buyers interested.... He does have a BO option, too.

Another 50 cents for the stamp to send it to you though is reasonable enough I think.. ;)

If I'm correct, he can't respond to another offer until the 48 hours is over or you've responded. If you do nothing (which you have a right to do, so he can't go to your first offer), he has to wait that entire time to sell this (assuming someone else wants it, even at the BIN price). This info is based on something someone at ebay said to me about a best offer I made, that the seller came back with a counteroffer, and I had decided I really didn't even want the item. I was told that if I declined the counteroffer, the seller could conceivibly accept my first offer that they had countered. And my best option was to simply wait the time out, and that the seller could not accept any more offers (even BIN) as long as the offer was in play.

I'd offer $6.50. No error or variety to it and certainly not worth no four digit price.
