Wish I had some extra cash. Ebay coin. Wish I had some extra cash to put a bid on this , looks like some top collectors trying to grab it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8425765838&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MESE:IT&rd=1 Could this be turned for a profit after it is certified ? I 'am always looking for a deal dd:
That's neat but when I take pictures I try to have ALL the shadows out of the way, but then again, I'm not trying to hide anything with my pictures. Trust me, the seller is hiding something... Bone
Thanks for the reply , I checked the sellers other items pictures , this guy is far from having a clue on how to take a photo. would this be worth a $750.00 gamble.
I doubt it, even Weinberg only thought it was worth a $320 gamble. As an errors dealer I'm gonna guess he has a pretty realistic grasp of what the coin is worth.
Another Error dealer/collector outbid Fred so that doesn't meant that he is done....I've been watching alot of error coins and see that alot of the time Fred puts in a low bid and later in the auction puts his highest one....there are still 8 days to go. Speedy
I see why ! I did a search on Walking Liberty Half Error and came up with this http://cgi.ebay.com/1918-S-Walking-...ryZ41100QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Looks the same except for the date, price and grading , But the error is close to exact the 1943 looks aliitle more uncentered on the broadstrike .Wish now I didn't spend money today on a new T.V.
no kidding, but in all seriousness those types of coins limit their value to a specific type of numismatic specialist.
