Why would anyone have a 2012 shield cent yet?

 

You order them from the mint.

 

i have some from 2011. try ordering from the mint

Nice, so we have a small date and large date variety for 2012. This is the 30 year ann. of the 1982 composition change for the cent. Wouldn't it be something if the mint changed the composition again for 2012 to commemorate?

 

The only probable thing they could use instead of zinc would be aluminum however we already tried that..
