    I have two set of 2007 Washington Dollar Ballistic Rolls from an Estate Sale, how much are they really worth. Sealed and with Certificates. Thanks

    I don't know...they're graded "A+++". :rolleyes:

    Which mean what? They're BU coins bought from somewhere in bulk, put into cheap hard plastic ballistic tubes, packed into a fancy box with a certificate and sold for about 95 or whatever dollars. The only people making money on these (assuming no valuable error coins in there) are the con artists who got people to purchase them in the first place. A fancy box can work miracles. :eek:

    Well, if I had to guess, I would say an A+++ beats an A++ every time. :thumb:

    Btw...what's a "ballistic" roll? Was it shot from a gun? :scratch:

    I have to apologize...we're just having some fun. These types of things are sold on TV and through mail order all the time. Common coins are put in really official looking packaging and sold for big bucks to unsuspecting "collectors".

    Although they're currently only worth face value (which is dropping every day), the government just released an executive order suspending the production of new Presidential dollar coins (except to meet numismatic demand). They may even begin destroying the $Trillion+ stockpile of these things they have sitting in warehouses. You might want to hang on to yours and see what happens.

    Trust me I know how great not only the Mint and others are at Marketing. They found away to hook people and it worked. No apoligy needed. I figured that what it was but I like to have someone try to talk me out of spending them. LOL.

    You might want to buy an armored safe to store your ballistic rolls in.

    Bankers Grand Armored Safe with Hoard of Coins

    World Reserve Monetary Exchange sold those ballistic rolls so they would look very nice alongside the "hoard of coins" that comes with the safe.
