The news was reported in another thread, as of June 30 Shop at Home is history. I have to confess to watching many hours of coin vault while on the computor, for laugh's if nothing else. We won't have Paul and Robert to kick around anymore, I found it amazing how long they stayed in business Given the outrages prices they charged and all the BS they spewed out. I would guess the popular consensus here would be GOOD RIDANCE. :hail:
Yes I too must admit I watched it for laughs! Now I won't be able to laugh at them. I guess I'll just go laugh at the other guys on tv that sell coins.
Actually, they are closing the tv show on 22 june, but the offices will stay open until 30 june for "cleanup" Amazingly the coin vault was their best and biggest show raking in an astounding $100 mil last year (i guess it was all those common dates brilliant uncirc for the low low cost of $30 a piece" but overall the network has lost over $80 mil in the last 4 years. But I too will miss watching it for hours on end in the wee hours of the morning while I went about other business.
I only saw this once after seeing it mentioned here on CT. From what I could tell these guys were making a ton of money doing this so I'm sure it'll resurface in some form.
HI All I was just thinking , what if Robert & Paul came back on the air and sold only s g s graded coins exclusively. Man just think , a set of a. s. e ms70 for $1850.00 with flex payments Someone stop me befor I go out of control.:hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer::hammer: :hammer:
Let me guess. They are going to have a "going out of business blowout!!" "These coins are going to triple in value" " They're almost gone better get them now."
