I have a 1907 indian cent that actually says 1007 on the date. What would cause this and what could it be worth?
Pics help a little but they're just too dark and blurry to really make out what's going on with that supposed 9.
I don't know what to tell you about the darkness but you can see very clearly it's two zeros. Try zooming in it works great.
1907 cent I see a 9, if you hold a magnifying glass about a inch away from your camera and take the picture through it that may help.
Someone (or something) altered the date. One thing's for sure; It's definitely no 1004-year-old coin. -Brian
