I need help

    I live near reading pennsylvania and I am new at looking for Double Dies does anyone know someone nearby that can help me. also is there anyone who has a clear picture of a 1996 DDO?

    I don't collect Lincolns after 1958 but I didn't realize there was a '96 DDO. Do you mean 1995?

    There are a lot of different year memorials with DDOs. Most are minor and not searched for a lot.

    Welcome to the forum. As for looking for Double Dies you'll never find them (unless you find two dies) because there is no such a thing. There are however Doubled Dies and many of them.

    Yes, there are many memorial years with doubling. But as far as I knew 1996 was mostly notable for its wide AM.

    Last i heard the '96 WAM was just a rumor and there has never been one actually certified.
    There is a '96 DDO however, I do know that.

    Well there you go. This is why collectors should know the series before collecting (or opining!). I'll go back to my wheaties now. :yes:
