Just like it sounds. The complete catalog to the ANA library is searchable on the website, so you just look up the ID for the book you want, and send in your request with two-way media mail postage. Shortly after that the book is in your mailbox, for use until the return deadline.
And on this subject - it means that for a fee you can have the library staff do in-depth research on a given topic for you and send you the results.
The two reason I keep my ANA membership is #1...the mag they print every month.... #2...I get to send coins to NGC without having a middle man... The library isn't any good if you don't use Credit cards as you have to tell them your number in case you never mail back the book....most of the other things they offer are things you might use once in your life!!
