Hello, i received what appears to be a 1911-1915? 20 Cent coin from Yunnan? Province, the pictures in krause and on numismaster are pretty blurry. Can anyone please validate that it's from where i think it is? and that it's actually real? I love the look of Chinese coins and i love dragons, but everything seems to be counterfeit these days. 987.jpg 528.jpg

Looks like a cast copy to me (top edge) still a nice looking coin.

Agreed. The petals of the rosettes are also irregularly shaped and there are a few other signs of casting.

Looks fake/repo to me. Looks to me like silver alloy also.

I would be very surprised if there was any silver in there at all. It looks like the typical dull, vaguely silverish alloy that many modern fakes are made of.
