The 2012 Haxby just became available on Amazon and I ordered a copy. I like the Haxby. Not as complete as the massive 2 volume Charlton catalog, it is a handy-dandy easy to use reference. I find the Haxby catalog well organized with good photography, accurate pricing (albeit high retail, IMO) and enough information for most day-to-day use. I still get the Charlton catalogs too - you can never have enough reference books!
Jim worked nonstop on this print. It's going to be a good one, though if I recall correct he mentioned he didn't get to put all that he wanted in it. Can't wait top get my copy. Have you seen his new website, www.vickycents.com
My copy of the 2012 Haxby Coins of Canada arrived in today's mail. In glancing over it, I was impressed by the photography. Its smaller size makes it more convenient to schlep around at coin shows too! Pricing is high retail, similar to the Charlton catalog. All-in-all, a very good general catalog for collectors of Canadian coinage.
