As you probably know I sold my collection to pay the bills that had to be paid because of this mess.

Ouch... tough situation you were forced into. On the bright side, currency/coins are liquid enough to get quick cash when needed; the down side is the replacement cost will exceed the sell price. However, taking care of the family is the number one priority.

Sorry about the mess you had to go through. Welcome back to collecting and Merry Christmas.

Keep monitoring your credit report. Contact and send a certified mail to the big 3 reporting agencies advising them to notify you if any new accounts have been or attempting to be opened in your name.

Hmmmm... works for me when I "click" it; it's just a link to an older CT thread. You can also find it easily by clicking on the OP's name and then "view posts". It's on the first page of posts, titled: "coin collecting is just a hobby thank goodness".

Tried that too, doesn't work. Guess I'm not special enough to have permissions for that.

Here's a little advice on money, bro, I hear that saving for investments then investing it makes a great deal of money. Lemme quote "You have to make money work hard for you to earn lots of money" -T. Harv Eker. Investing does require quite alot of money, but after all that "travails" you'll be in paradise man. Hope this helps.

Glad to hear that your getting back to the swing of collecting.

I sold quite a bit of my collection over the course of the summer to pay bills because I didn't have a job. Now that I have one and been making money, I have slowly been adding back to my collection.
