Nothing really worth anything, but just some bills I've had for the last 15 years or so.

  3. I love the old ones as i have about 12 but none are of much value. When i look at todays bills its almost like we have third world notes.I think the older notes and coins are the most wanted not only for value but for beauty.

By "third world", do you mean "rest of the world"? Only USA notes cling to the (mostly) monochromatic style of the past. While that has resulted in many beautiful examples of the engraving art in the past, the addition of modern anti-counterfeiting features yields a very busy design. Many of the multi-coloured notes of the "rest of the world" retain strong national identities, but have taken full advantage of advances in printing technology to deliver spectacular designs.

I have to agree with woody, the new notes are colorized and look like notes I have from foreign countries from years ago. I really enjoy looking at my monochromatic notes of ode, simplicity is something we seem to have lost.

There is an 'Edit Post' button in the bottom right hand corner of whatever you post for little typos like these. Just saying for your future reference because I know I have lots of typos!

Picked this up today, $2 red seal. Not in terrific shape, but not bad either.
