"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

This 1850s obsolete banknote from the White Mountain Bank in New Hampshire (reprinted on a 1983 souvenir card) has a great Santa Claus vignette -- note the eight reindeer. It perfectly depicts St. Nick, as described in "The Night Before Christmas."

This is my Christmas card to everyone on this forum. I hope the day brings you much joy and the new year brings you great additions to your collections.

    Happy holidays,
    Greg

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I think I got that card back in 1983 at Memphis

Just thought I'd bump this old thread up and wish everyone happy holidays. Here's another version of the Santa engraving that ABNC used on a series of Christmas cards.

Merry Christmas Greg, and also to all the members of Coin Talk.

    Love seeing that mid-century Obsolete.
