EBay feedback

I've noticed that I have gotten identically worded feedback from different sellers who I know are not the same person. I also noticed this on someone else's feedback when I was looking at their profile. So I'm wondering, is there some kind of feedback service that the higher volume sellers get that leaves feedback for them? Both of the ones I notice today have more than 3,000 feedbacks on their own profile and are big quantity sellers.

That sounds like a sound theory. I've dealt with a few sellers where as soon as you leave positive feedback, you get the same in return like a few seconds later, every single time. I seriously doubt they have someone sitting there hawking the feedback and instantly responding.

There is a feedback service that posts feedbacks for either buyers or sellers. Plus most people use the same generic statements. Like fast shipping, great seller and so on.
And plus getting the same feedback over and over is better than a feedback that advertises their own store.

Yes there are a number of services that can leave automatic, set feedback comments.

Good to know it's that and not just that all the good coin sellers on eBay are really the same person.

As long as there's none that are negative, I can care less what is actually said. I'm human and I leave generic type responses, maybe just an A++++, etc. :)

I understand there are automatic services. I sometimes write one feedback, copy that and paste it a few times to save typing. I mean, how much can you say really ? "As Described, Fast Shipping" etc. The vendor is either good or not.

ebay has lots of free applications that you can try out as a seller. I use the selling manager which comes with a few "canned feedback comments" but don't have them automated, yet.

Many of the services that help ebay sellers manage their auctions will automate the leaving of feedback.

I agree that feedback is usually generic and I don't really care what they say. I just noticed the exact same wording, punctuation, number of pluses on A+++++, etc., to the extent that it had to be the same person or program doing it.

I do the same process. Who cares what the words are, as long as it was a good transaction & a positive feedback return!

When contemplating a purchase on eBay, I do, of course, check the seller's feedback.
I pretty much don't care what the positives say (like item as described, nice item, etc) except I do like to see "Fast Shipping" among them.
What I pay particular attention to is neutral and negative feedback.
I also check to see if the seller has left a snotty answer to said feedback.
I don't need for a seller to have perfect feedback but if a seller leaves nasty responses to non-positive feedback, I won't do business with him.
