What do you think of this Peace Dollar?

    $800 is a crazy price for a 63, IMO.

However, attractively toned peace dollars in PCGS holders are rare birds indeed, and when they do surface, that's the kind of multiple you can expect to pay (or even higher!).

p.s. it appears to be a very attractive coin, but if I recognize the pictures and the seller, he is known for -- how shall I say it -- optimistically colored photographs. To put it differently, I would expect the coin in-hand to be substantially less colorful than the saturated photos suggest.

Thats a pretty coin, one I wouldn't mind going for. If it wasn't so darn expensive.

It was sarcastic. But then that is because David Hall once said that any colorfully toned Peace dollar was AT.

Yep...its a beauty. They're definately the toughest toners to come by in my experience as well.
