Post yout toned GOLD!

    I know gold takes a lot to tone... but can be attractive when it does. This coin is a beater... but it had some neat toning I wanted to post. Anyone else have any toned gold coins?

    Matt I don't see many toned gold coins , the ones I see are usually just a different color . I don't know if this is from a slightly different mix of alloy , or toning . Beater or not I really like the color of your piece . Also is that a scratch or is it raised .
    It looks raised to me , but the upset metal on the sides of it would say scratch . Dang I need new glasses . lol
