gah, always on the hunt for some more speciality gold coin books. Got reinannce of american coinage, and Bowers book on US gold coinage. Got double eagle redbook, counterfeit detection of US Gold book, another counterfeit detection of US Gold book, gold rush, and a couple others. Read most of them. Does anyone know any books on speciality gold types, excluding rare branch mint issues? For examlpe, books on $5 gold, $2.50 gold, I know there' a book on dollar gold too. Any books on specifically $10 gold, $3 gold? What's with the scarcity of these books? Only a small handful books on the subject available; and most seem to be investor books, price guides, population reports and less on the history of the coins. Even bowers book mostly concentrates in some parts to the travel of collections and populations of said coin.
