Glad you got a nice one!
I've never gotten any ASE before but saw an add in RedBook form Universal Coin saying if you call they'll send you two First Strikes. So I called and they sent me three-$35 worth of silver. So....everybody check their 2007 RedBooks for free silver!

You can get a free A.S.E. with a one year subscription to Coin magazine right now, or at least they were running that deal a couple of weeks ago. I figured for thirty dollars I'd try it for a year for that.

Hey when did you order this man... nice but be carefull after 30 days expect a charge of whatever the coins are worth... they give "away" things saying you only pay S&H but get your credit card #.... i saw that offer too... but i hope you will end up paying only for shipping...

ljkvette>> I got the offer in a copy of the magazine I bought at a newsstand. You'll have to google around and see if you can find it online.

I should also note that this offer is for a B.U. eagle, not the proof, which is what Carold53 would have gotten from the mint.

    Purty ain't it Carold?

FWIW you can get a subscription for about $10 on ebay (sans ASE). IIRC the subscription is cheaper straight through them without the ASE than with it so it's not really free (might still work out to an ok deal, I'm not sure).

Well, that bites. I thought I had a pretty good thing there.

Never thought about looking for magazine subscriptions on ebay. Thanks for the tip.
