I’ve purchased what I think is my last coin of the year but I don’t have it in hand. I don’t like posting coins before I have them just in case. So if you have it, what’s your last coin of the year?
My last coin was the 2021 Morgan (P). That was my last coin from ebay. My last coin or set was the 2022 S Limited Edition Silver Proof Set.
I don't have mine in hand yet. They both shipped today(Or had shipping labels printed at least). But these are definitely my last 2 coin purchases of 2022
This is in the mail, sellers image. "2016-W" Winged Liberty Head over-strike on 40% silver Eisenhower Dollar
Items that are coming "in the mail" for me aren't coins. They are US $1 bills. One of my collections is US Small-Sized $1 bills from Series 1928 through 1969-D. This includes all the Districts for all of the 1963 and 1969 series. And all of the star notes And all of the mules. The boundaries of the collection are based on Robert Azpiazu's book. The only coin I'm after is still in the bidding stage and (if I win) wouldn't be received until next year.
The one I had in mind when I started this thread came in today but I also bought a couple at a local shop today. So here are all three.
Nothing fancy, compared to some of the others, but my New Years coin that finally came today from the Royal Mint was the Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, featuring the first obverse of King Charles iii. It is 5 pounds, and comes in a commemorative folder.
