I picked this up at an estate sale over the weekend. Its 2" in diameter, and is from the Franklin Mint. I guess my main question is if it is solid sterling silver ?[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]any other info would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance for all replies.

It is solid sterling silver. If you have any doubt, have a jeweler test it.

Thanks,I will do that. I was just wondering if anyone could tell by the edge markings, and hoping to learn something. Also because of the price I paid, thought maby the seller knew something that I didn't.

Worth roughly $40 in silver content. Might be worth more as a collector coin.

Well the first marking tells you it is sterling silver. The second symbol is copyright. The third is a Franklin Mint mint mark, Can't read the fourth one. And the last one I believe is an indicator that it is silver. My guess is the fourth one is probably a fineness indicator or a date indicator.
