Looking for info on Chinese coins

    My grandfather had these Chinese coins sitting in a drawer and we're trying to figure out what they are. If anyone could help identify these coins, we'd appreciate it! photo.jpg

    they are actually japanese coins, i believe the one on the left is a 1 mon, and the one on the right i dont know about.

    The one on the right is Chinese, of the 1736 to 1795 type. The mint would be on the other side.

    Yea I believe so, except I'm not sure if it's a 1 or 4 mon. They are pretty close in size.

    The mint information is on the reverse of these coins. Please post images of both sides.
