My dad is wanting me to try to find out what this penny is worth. The year says 19y0, so obviously it is a misprinted coin. Anyone have any information of any kind on this coin, or more importantly have an idea of what it was worth?

The coin is probably just a damaged coin. folks are finding coins all the time and thinking the date on them is wrong just because something hits them and damages the numbers of the date. your coin is probably a 1970 coin with the top of the 7 pushed down. but to tell for sure a photo would be needed.
Is the coin 19 Y/0? Without pictures, I gotta say it is PMD via taking the top of the 9 in 1990 off making it 19y0. Most likely done with a chizzel.
It could be the Y2K bug. I have been waiting to see bad things happen for 11 years now. This "Y" has to be it!
