look to see if there is doubling on the 4..if there is then yes you have one. Your picture is to small to see any doubling on the 4 Edit: you asked if it was not if it was an 42/41. It appears real but I would like to see close ups, pictures to small for me to tell.
Once you double click, hold down the Ctrl key and keep clicking the plus (+) key. I would say it is authentic and give it VF20-25.
I agree, it looks legit to me. Although the detail isn't very high at the date in these images, the 4 does appear to be doubled near the bottom (where it should be most noticeable). Great coin.
Looks good , nice coin and a key to the series . I'd get it slabbed but that's just me . Nice pickup .

I agree as well, and would guess a 35. However, keys sometimes get bumped so a 40 would not be impossible. Nice coin. Most of the fake 42/1's you will find will be labeled as such. They weren't created to be junk silver.
