So I finally got a hold of a camera that was made in the 21st century. Here is my 1942 2 over 1 from my youtube video. My questions are, is it authentic, and what would you grade it? Thank you very much.

look to see if there is doubling on the 4..if there is then yes you have one. Your picture is to small to see any doubling on the 4

Edit: you asked if it was not if it was an 42/41. It appears real but I would like to see close ups, pictures to small for me to tell.

Once you double click, hold down the Ctrl key and keep clicking the plus (+) key.

I would say it is authentic and give it VF20-25.

I agree, it looks legit to me. Although the detail isn't very high at the date in these images, the 4 does appear to be doubled near the bottom (where it should be most noticeable). Great coin.

Thanks Guys, I wasn't aware that the 4 should be doubled? Isn't that the 2 over 1 D?

Looks close to me. Worth sending to a TPG.

Top dime is a real one. Bottom is OP's
    Lance.

Looks good , nice coin and a key to the series . I'd get it slabbed but that's just me . Nice pickup .

Thank you very much. I was worried because I heard there were a ton of counterfeits in the 50's. I'm gonna send it in to get slabbed Asap.

Definitely looks real to me, get it slabbed and documented.

I agree as well, and would guess a 35. However, keys sometimes get bumped so a 40 would not be impossible.

Nice coin. Most of the fake 42/1's you will find will be labeled as such. They weren't created to be junk silver. :)
