This appears to be a struck through error ratherthan a lamination error. It looks like it is struck through either a piece of cloth or maybe tape. The upper edge is just too straight for a lamination error in my opinion.

 

That is what my wife said! , something thin, that still allowed the design to show

 

I agree with the struck through. I don't think it's a lamination. See how the rim is slightly deformed? Definitely struck through.

 

I'm unable determine if it has indeed a mint error or a man made one. Would u agree its a mint error?
